A wheat or rice reaper is used for harvesting wheat and rice by cutting down rice panicles. It is a convenient harvesting tool for farmers. A rice reaper is attached to a Massey Ferguson tractor’s front. It is useful in harvesting cereal crops. It cuts crops, conveys them vertically to a side and then drops them in a window which enables easier and smooth collection. The machine lays down the cut panicles on ground for collection. This implement has effectively replaced manual rice harvesting, which was not only time consuming but also results in post harvest losses. Through this machine, rice and wheat grains are harvested in a quick and timely manner, and the quality of the grain can also be preserved.
